Tableaux Vivant
Theme:
Using 3d Modeling software students will create an Tableaux Vivant
Definition Tableau vivant is French for "living picture." The term describes a striking group of suitably costumed actors or artist's models, carefully posed and often theatrically lit. Throughout the duration of the display, the people shown do not speak or move. The approach thus marries the art forms of the stage with those of painting/photography, and as such it has been of interest to modern photographers.
Size of Images Images need to be 300ppi and scaled appropriately to your final image output size.
Requirements Option A:

Students will create two (2) Tableaux Vivants. The final pieces must be cleaned up in Photoshop and be printed out no smaller than 17" x 22"

Requirements Option B: Students will create one animated Tableaux Vivant. The final movie must be at least 1 minute in length.
Images: All 3D objects must be original (you made them). You may use found images for texture maps and backgrounds. Original work is always appreciated and desired.
Photography You must include photographic or hand drawn elements to your Tableaux Vivant
