Still Life Photography

Theme:

An exploration of still life photography techniques emphasizing depth of field and aperature control.
Students will create a series of images that rely on depth of filed and/or selective focus. There will be no specific theme for the assignment other than the images need to express selective focus.

Requirements

 

 

 Types of imagery you can explore:
  • Infinite Depth of Field
  • Shallow Depth of Field
  • Selective focus (shallow depth)
Image resolution The image size should be set at RAW.
Details: Create at least 8 unique finished images
Printing Four of the images must be printed out by the start of critique.</td>Images should be printed out in full color on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
